Summary/Abstract: In the paper we try to analyse the link between the questionability and tranquillity. To name it: we are considering if asking questions is connected with a tranquil state of mind-soul, or rather a restless one. The research has a theoretical framework which, first, presents many philosophical and religious concepts of peaceful mind (among others, Scepticism, Stoicism, Buddhism, Epicureanism, Cynicism) and, second, introduces some chosen ideas of understanding what is questionability (J. Tischner’s and E. Coreth’s views). The conclusions of this paper is that there exists a fundamental connection between those concepts, in particular, trouble mind and questioning.
