Summary/Abstract: This article presents the results of a research conducted under our supervision by students of thesubject “Clearly, honestly, correctly – simplifying banking communication in practice”. The classeswere delivered at the University of Warsaw in cooperation with mBank as part of the “Studentsfor the Environment” programme. On this example, we show how to integrate plain-languagetopics into academic teaching. This article presents alstithe conclusions formulated based on theresearch results and further research perspectives on the idea of plain language in the contextof a broader phenomenon, i.e. effective communication.
