Summary/Abstract: The paper reviews the traditional approach accepted in the medieval science to the editions of chronographical Alexandria, which is an Old Church Slavonic translation of the Greek Alexander Romance. Linguistic and textological markers as well as chronological dates clarification clearly show redistribution of the well-known scripts.
