Summary/Abstract: Changes of the production conditions resulting from technological progress, globalization and financialization have also changed industrial relations. Advanced individualization of work in terms of time, spatial and legal organization enforced mobility, independence and flexibility in order to maintain the satisfying living standards. The strategy of flexicurity, combining employment flexibility with the high levels of social security, is one of the key recommendations for the Member States of the European Union. However, as a soft law, it does not deliver any quality standards of employment. Hence, the risk of emergence of a new category of economic and social exclusion: flexible employment precariat.
