Summary/Abstract: The established form of album inscriptions, basing on the rich emblematic tradition, madeit possible to identify a hand-written album-like inscription of Jerzy Wilhelm Kloch in a book by pastor Jan Muthmann from Cieszyn, which had been earlier regarded as a mere dedication or just passed over. The inscription is of interest primarily as it indicates that one may discover other inscriptions of this type in literature through looking for the aforementioned characteristic features of this literary genre. It has also become another confirmation of close ties of friendship between the two Cieszyn pastors.
