Summary/Abstract: The International Congress of Historical Sciences is organized every five years by the International Committee of Historical Sciences. In this report the author discusses its work and the upcoming congress in Sydney, Australia, and attaches a list of the three big topics planned for discussion ('Humankind and Nature in History1, 'Myth and History1, 'War, Peace, Society, and International Order in History1), the twenty-six specialized topics, and twenty round-table discussions.
