Summary/Abstract: In the 21st century, the leading states of the world have moved to the next generation wars conduct, emphasis the strategic confrontation of non-kinetic weapons. The modern view of warfare is based on the idea that the mind is the main battle space, and as a result, the new generation wars must be dominated by informational and psychological warfare, in order to achieve superiority and to demoralize the enemy armed forces personnel, and also the civilian population. The main objective is to reduce at minimum the need to deploy classical military power, causing the adversary civilian population support the attacker instead of their own government and country. Currently, almost all armed forces of powerful states have such capabilities that can generate a massive psychological impact. In addition to traditional military operations, non-kinetic psychological and informational operations are becoming increasingly important as modern technologies are more sophisticated, integrated, interconnected. In this context, we will emphasize psychological actions as the main component of non-kinetic operations, highlighting their role and importance in modern conflicts.
