Summary/Abstract: In the following article we briefly evoke the life and activity of Georgeta Constanța Istrătoaie, who was an appreciated German teacher. For a few years before her retirement, she worked as a scientific researcher at the “Bukovina” Institute in Rădăuți, her area of interest being the German press in Bukovina. The results of her researches were published in several articles in “Analele Bucovinei”, the scientific magazine of the institute.
