Summary/Abstract: The article is an attempt to look at the state of research in Poland concerning the study of femininity and women as well as literary sources in this field. The female concept of “being-in-the-world” is an original version, in line with the current trend of literary studies, conducted for many years, and initiated or initiated on a larger scale in the 90s of the twentieth century. The presence of a woman or her “being-in-the world” defines female experiences, family, social and national roles, love, initiation, rebellious or personal relationships, and thus refers to mythical and stereotypical phenomena rooted in culture. It is also about female learning about the world, being in reality, in culture, in literature, most often through writing, marking the experience of time.
