Summary/Abstract: Following the research made by Alina Chyczewska (1973) and Angela Sołtys (2010), the author undertook further study regarding the history of the subject families as part of a major research regarding the visit in Rome of the royal architect Johann Christian Kamsetzer in the years 1780–1781, where he stayed at the Bacciarellis’. Kamsetzer was also sending letters to the court and their receipient was Marcello Bacciarelli. He was an important person at the royal court of King Stanisław August Poniatowski in Warsaw. Bacciarelli established himself in Warsaw in 1766 and the King gave him a task of setting up an academy of fine arts, which in fact resulted in opening a painters school at the Royal Castle. In 1768 Bacciarelli obtained a nobility title, being not only the royal painter but also playing the role of the main advisor to the King in artistic matters. The first step in the author’s research was to establish the activities of the family members after 1737, when the family appeared for the last time in the parochial records at Santa Maria in Via. This fact indicates that they moved away and the task was to find their new location.
