Summary/Abstract: Kitsch is one of those few concepts that refuses to be included in the rigors of a single discipline, forming itself at the intersection of several fields, aesthetics, individual or collective psychology, sociology, ethics, etc. His interdisciplinary fiber has nothing to do with passing academic fashions, but with the variety of his forms of manifestation. Because kitsch attacks on several sides: it degrades artistic ideals and ideas, transforming the Art of aesthetic emotion into a pseudo-art of the desire for consumption.
