Summary/Abstract: Large-panel construction in Bulgaria has a history of over sixty years. According to official statistics, prefabricated housing in the country is 710,972 or about 19%. Since the end of the 20th century, European countries have been looking for and finding solutions for the development of this type of housing construction, through its gradual energy and constructive modernization. The National Energy Efficiency Program has been launched in our country, which for a number of reasons currently lacks the necessary scope and efficiency. It is important to create a workable strategy to support this process, taking into account the form of ownership and solvency of the inhabitants of this type of housing in Bulgaria.
