Summary/Abstract: The Yugoslav historiography could not, really, survive the idea, to make a distinction between the historical truth and folk legend was not essential. They could not overcome the idea that a different truth exist being the subject of discussions of the historians. Historiography was not only a profession, but an instrument of the politics.
