Summary/Abstract: This is an original scientific work, a part of a monograph on the Croatian cultural society “Napredak” (Progress) but it deals, only with a segment of the activity of the period 1902-1918. The primary activities were: scholarship grants for their protégé -pupils, students, apprentices in crafts and trade, publishing, buildings, central management every day work, etc.
