Refugee Topics in Radio Reportage in the Context of the War in Ukraine in 2022

Summary/Abstract: The goal of the following text is to discuss radio documentaries concerning war emigrants that appeared in Polish stations during the first two weeks of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. The research method used in the article is the analysis of the content and artistic means of audio expression as well as comparative analysis. Refugee documentaries are quite homogeneous and paint a polyphonic portrait of emigrants as a community, from which, however, it is possible to emerge individual stories saturated with concrete human tragedy. Most of the analyzed works focus on the subject, while attaching a little less importance to the formal side of the program, as a result only individual projects can be described as artistic reportages.
