Summary/Abstract: This study, part of the critical discourse analysis approach (CDA), aims to analyse the representation of the disabled person in the speech of the Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi to verify whether his speech adopts an objective representation of this other or if we can identify traces of stigmatization visible by linguistic and discursive choices. As our corpus is originally in Arabic, it will be possible to see whether the representation of the other changes when switching from Arabic to French or whether it remains faithful to the original.
