Summary/Abstract: It is well known that along the time in the Romanian people΄s culture and in that of different nationalities took place a series of mutual influences. The borrowings from the culture of those populations that Romanians came aross with considering the mention that they werw adapted to the local substratum, degenerated in new and multiple forms of settlements. Romulus Vuia establishes the typologie of the Romanian village, according to the following criteria: - the plan of the village (settlement fasetare); - the report between the street and the houses; - the property; - the inhabitants΄ trade; - the geographical position; - the external shape and the typical aspect of the village. Accepting this wind of classification, we find the following types of settlements in the area Apuseni Mountains. Such as: - the village with isolated houses; - the village with dispersed houses; - the village of the type down hill or settled in the valley; - and the village whose houses are along the road or liniar villages.
