Summary/Abstract: The author of this text had in his previously published work on taxit ( La Faculty Annual, VIII, Sarajevo 1960) given a hypothesis that taxit in Bosnia was established nearly at the same time as this taxation was established in other provinces of Ottoman Empire (in Anadolia and Rumelia) and was called imdad-i hazariye and imdad-i seferiye. The hypothesis proved itself correct.
