Summary/Abstract: This article is a review of some current issues associated with medical interpreting during the COVID-19 pandemic as reported in a series of publications. It analyzes a few of the challenges created by the new circumstances and restrictions to the interpreting professionals as well as the solutions adopted, emphasizing the vital importance of this activity in medical settings.
