The Administrative register as a part of the E- Government system

Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this article is to examine the current regulation of the Administrative Register and to identify its place in the system of electronic government. The article contains an overview of the legal framework in order to establish what its main purposes have been since its establishment. In addition, the requirements to the Administrative Register introduced by the Electronic Government Act, the Electronic Identification Act and their implementing acts are analyzed. The findings explain why the special regulations (and the actual state of the register) do not comply with these additional requirements.
