Summary/Abstract: In order to point out the popularity of the Hispano-American novels the author has stated that four writers of the Hispano-American literature won the prestigious Nobel’s prize. These were: Miguel Angel Asturias (1967), Pablo Neruda (1971), Gabriel Garcia Marques (1982) and Octavio Paz (1990). The fact that the novel A Hundred Years of Solitude has being researched for over than a decade tells us why it was said to be the most important literal work of the 20th century.
