Summary/Abstract: The topic of the article are the initial stages of the division of the Balkans. The interests and the plans of the Great powers in regards with the Balkans are shown. It was planned that Turkey will play a part in the military activities against Germany. A connection between the “Italian incident” and the future plans of the Soviet Union, the United States and Great Britain was revealed. Naturally the focus of the exposition was placed on Bulgaria and the initial stage of its placing under the Soviet political and military dependency is shown.
