Some Notes about the Setting of the New Bulgarian School in the Town of Sopot

Summary/Abstract: In the study the early period of the history of the new Bulgarian school in the town of Sopot is regarded. Also a careful new glance was thrown alongside with some comparisons with already used and famous sources. That allowed us to give a new interpretation of some facts and as a result we have corrected the list of the main teachers in the Sopot school during its initial period and we have acquired a better idea of who followed whom. Some special attention was paid to a basic sort of sources for date – the assisting books published in that period. The conclusions of the deep analysis of those lists lead to some significant corrections in the views of some authors who had dealt earlier with the same problem.
