DIASPORA AND MINORITIES AS MOST PLAYERS AND COOPERATION AMONG THE NATIONS IN THE ERA GLOBALIZED WORLD

Summary/Abstract: The contemporary world is a witness to the process of planetary mobility of people, which is one of the indicators of globalization. In such a context, it is the phenomenon of migrations that deserves special attention, alongside the place and role of the diaspora and national minorities. The paper presents a sociological analysis of the position of the diaspora and national minorities in the Balkans, especially focusing thereby on defining the priorities of a new culturaly policy in the area in the era of globalization and in the processes of European integrations.
