Summary/Abstract: The subject of our research is to investigate the nature and the main characteristics of Serbian language, produced by Albanian speakers in Bujanovac (multiethnic municipality populated by Serbian, Albanian and Roma people). Using comparative, analytic and morpho-syntactic method, we analyze corpus material on two levels: 1. Clear linguistic level based on comparative analysis between language structures (syntax and semantics of prepositions in Serbian and Albanian language: syntactic possibilities triggered by scope of semantics); 2. Sociolinguistic level based on identification of possible environmental influences on language acquisition in multiethnic contexts (social-educational and comparative method as a theoretical frame of teaching a non-mother tongue). Our goal is to identify social and linguistic aspect of acquiring and learning Serbian language as non-mother tongue and offer possible theoretical solutions of language teaching and learning in multiethnic environments.
