Summary/Abstract: The paper presents foreign elements in the lexical processing primary cattle products (milk, wool, meat, leather) in the speeches of south-east Serbia. The material is partically excused from the published dialectical dictionaries (Pirot, Timok, Lužnica, Leskovac, Crna Trava, Jablanica etc.), and partly collected on the field using a questionnaire. A semantic and etymological analysis was performed. It turned out that in the aforementioned lexicon dominate borrowers of Turkish origin (šerdenka, maja, bagana, čerek, džogljan, kavurma etc.). The oldest are the borrowers of old-Balkan and Roman origin (urda, kamčelka, klašnje, kulastra, sera), as well as of Greeek origin (vilija, ziđ, komatiše, kutlača, skara). The last are some borrowers of German origin (krezle, vusikle, rolna, farba, fulke).
