Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to present the issue of parish books and registers in the Code of Canon Law and in the regulations of Episcopal Conferences. The first part presents the norms of the 1983 Code of Canon Law on parish books and registers. The second part presents the issue of keeping and storing the book of confirmation, while the third part is devoted to the regulations of Episcopal Conferences on parish books and registers. The article ends with a summary and bibliography.
