Summary/Abstract: The article explores the concept of technological innovations in healthcare, types of innovations by technology and its output. It also overviews the existing practice of the technological innovations’ impact measurement on health and life expectancy as the most common metric, used by the economist. Based on the existing empirical research evidence the authors propose a model to analyze the impact of different groups of factors on the life expectancy at birth. The proposed model is validated by running a survey to confirm its content and weight of impact of each group of the factors on life expectancy.
