Summary/Abstract: Numenius of Apamea, a Neopythagorean, designs an ontological system which follows in the footsteps of Plato’s tradition: the system is based on three ontological principles described as Gods. This study makes brief comments upon the fragments that expose the Primordial Principles and the Causes of the Universe, while invoking the Platonic tradition with which the thinker interacted. We will also present the information by using schematics which may be better reproduced by reading the discussed fragments.
