Summary/Abstract: The goal of this article is to analyze concept of medialab and meaning of paradigm for mediaeducation. The author takes into account contemporary discourse of digital humanitieslaboratories and laboratory turn. Theoretical considerations are filled by case study ofMedialab Gdańsk, Medialab Katowice and UBU lab in Krakow. Analysis of these institutions was provided by qualitative research. The perspective of three different initiatives indicatesvarious methods of implementation of media and digital education postulates set in localcultural-social context.
