Summary/Abstract: The subject of the article is a critical analysis of the Kant’s thoughts about politics. The author concentrates on Kant’s realistic description of politics and on the basic principles of politics (representation, federalism, publicity). He points on the problematic relationship between sovereignty and citizens as well as between order and freedom. Referring to the present he points in this contexts on a current social problems.
