Summary/Abstract: This study deals with the noun phraseologisms (formed with a noun defining a part of the human body) in the Serbian and Romanian languages taking into account both the morphological and the syntactic aspects of these units. The comparative analysis of such set phrases has been made considering their structure, the grammar categories of the noun phraseologisms and their syntactical function in close correlation with their meaning which plays a very important role in their classification in different categories.
