Summary/Abstract: This article includes an analysis of the accounting records preserved in the Central Archives of Historical Records in Warsaw which refer to the years of the reign of King John I Albert (1492–1501), in terms of the issues connected with the military service performed by horse courtiers (curienses) in the defence of Ruthenia.
