Summary/Abstract: The approach on pronunciation, reading and writing issues of Greek words adapted in the Russian language has as a start line the different viewpoints regarding the way elements of the Erasmic (Ancient Greek) pronunciation – on one hand – and of the Reuchlinian (Medieval and Modern Greek) pronunciation – on the other hand – spread in the Russian language. This article shows a historical review on the way the Erasmic and Reuchlinian pronunciations have been studied in Russian.
