Summary/Abstract: This study examines the involvement of Czechoslovakia in the InternationalNuclear Information System (INIS) in the period of 1970–1989. It shows how the INISdatabase was used in Czechoslovakia and describes the work of the Nuclear InformationCenter (Ústřední informační středisko pro jaderný program, ÚISJP), the Czechoslovaknational center for INIS.
