Summary/Abstract: The author of this article explains the arrival of various ethnic groups to Slovakia, but particularly focus on the arrival of Wallachian ethnic group between the 14th and the 17th century. In addition to a thorough gradual settlement and their lifeway, she highlights their reflection in the construction of the names of rivers as important landmarks in the field.
