Summary/Abstract: Digitalization is very important in terms of the correct and fast implementation of the operation and decision mechanism of businesses. In order to respond to the growing trade and market volume in the maritime sector, ports use new technologies brought by digitalization in order to carry out operations faster and with fewer errors. In this context, the aim of the study is to examine the digital technology applications in which port operators operating in Turkey and having container terminals, which are members of TÜRKLİM, invest according to their regions. In this study, case study from qualitative research methods and document analysis method as data analysis technique were used. In this context, the websites of 25 ports with container terminals were examined, and the digital technology applications they published on their websites on behalf of technology were evaluated. As a result of the research, it has been determined that the differences according to the geographical regions in Turkey and the innovative steps of the port operators are the initial steps. In the research, it was emphasized that the decision makers of the port operators should take more competitive and more innovative steps and the critical innovations that technology added to the operational processes should be implemented. In order for port operators to catch up with the future, it has been suggested to get help from digital technology experts and employ people who exhibit innovative work behaviour.
