Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to analyze the characteristics of customers who fail to pay their loans on time and determine whether these features affect the lack of timely payment of their liabilities. The subject of the research is a group of 31 individual clients who fail to pay the installments of their cash liabilities on time. The inference was made using the chi square test of independence. For the adopted level of significance, there are no grounds to reject the null hypotheses for all the examined features. Therefore, other factors determining creditworthiness should be looked for.
