Summary/Abstract: In this study, by strengthening the functionality of the existing protocols of CEIT departments between the Ministry of National Education and the Higher Education Institution; it is aimed to examine the information technology teachers' profession profile’s in-depth in the presence of different stakeholder groups (teacher, lecturer, student) graduated from CEIT departments. In this context, the opinions of 10 information technology teachers working at the schools in Sakarya, 6 academic staff working in the CEIT department of Sakarya University Education Faculty, and 11 prospective teachers studying in this department were examined with a semi-structured interview form. The results obtained were analyzed in accordance with qualitative research methods based on descriptive and content analysis. In the study, the information technology teaching profession profile was revealed with a holistic perspective by examining the program outcomes of the Higher Education Council of Turkey, the expectations of MoNE of Turkey. Accordingly, the results obtained show that ICT teachers should be given a new title by considering the pedagogical dimensions of the education they received during their undergraduate education, as well as the technical aspects.
