Summary/Abstract: The concept of education, which is important for every society, has been affected by developments and comparative education research has gained importance. In this study, a series had been analysed which can be considered as one of the first examples of comparative education studies were carried out in Turkey. The document review method was used in the study designed as qualitative research. 7 works that can be reached in the series consisting of 11 works published between 1927-28 were examined. In order to increase the quality of the study, the credibility, transferability and verifiability criteria were taken into consideration. In the studies examined, it was observed that the subjects such as the history of the American education system, and public education were discussed. As a result of the analysis, it was concluded that the works were addressed in all aspects of the American education system and that the aim was to give an idea to the newly established republic during the establishment of the education system. It is thought that the study will contribute to both comparative education studies and Turkish education history studies.
