Summary/Abstract: This research aims to investigate the tendencies of the studies conducted on anxiety in Turkish language teaching. The object of investigation of the research, which is confined only to four basic language skills, consists of graduate dissertations and articles published between 2010-2019. The document review method is applied in the study. According to the findings, it was found that most studies on anxiety were prepared as research articles; a significant increase has been in research in the last five years and the studies are mostly based on writing and speaking rather than basic language skills. As for the models used in the studies, it was determined that survey-model studies are predominant, and secondary school students, undergraduate students and foreign students are the most preferred sample groups. It was observed that the number range between 1-100 was the most preferred number of students samples. In the studies conducted on the effects of various variables on anxiety, it was determined that the gender and grade level variables were examined more than other variables. The frequency and apercentage values of the findings are presented through tables and graphs.
