Summary/Abstract: Selman Riza, a researcher immersed in several linguistic disciplines, is a special name in Albanian linguistics. Those who are familiar with his life and work have described him as a devoted patriot. The Riza phenomenon, as academician Rexhep Ismajli describes it, was one of the most prominent linguists and scholars, for whom grammar and Kosovo were his inseparable passions and loves, they were metaphors of knowledge and homeland. He aimed at the theoretical and philosophical conceptions of cognition, intellectology, and communication. In each field, he brought distinct results, which distinguish his individuality and his creative and radiant mind.
