Summary/Abstract: The paper outlines a pioneering research paper on postage stamps of the Republic of Kosovo. Therefore, descriptions, quotations of our and foreign postage laws are provided herein, literature for comparison, both in foreign and Albanian literature, some theory for postage stamps for comparison, many pictures of postage stamps and others, just to better understand the problematics of our postage stamps. Postage stamps are values and proof that serve for the payment of postal services. Post of Kosovo has been issuing postage stamps issues since 2000, initially under the supervision and administration of UNMIK, respectively under the supervision of the United Nations Interim Administration Mission in Kosovo. After declaration of the independence in 2008, postage stamps were issued by the Post of the Republic of Kosovo, and nowadays the issuing continues under the name Kosovo only. Postage stamps promote Kosovo values, such as historical, natural heritage values, cultural heritage values of various fields, national values and prominent names of dispersed fields of science, art, sports, further of values in the economic and social field, artistic values and other values being the identity of the state of Kosovo. In a globalist language, I would say postage stamps have had an impact on users and beyond, this being either of informational, pleasing and inspirational or impressive character.
