Summary/Abstract: The “Burning Bush” movement represented a formation matrix, the Christian community where Father André Scrima was spiritually initiated and, at the same time, a unique pneumatic phenomenon in the history of the Orthodox tradition, and even in the history of the Christian tradition in general, in the twentieth century. Unique in the Orthodox culture of the century is not only this movement guided by the philocal and hesychastic tradition, a true rediscovery of the depth of experience of Orthodoxy, but also the analysis entrusted to writing at the other end of life, the understanding shared by Father Andrei in his work The Burning Bush times. The author presents in the paper/essay historical and theological landmarks on this movement.
