Summary/Abstract: The article focuses on a little-known problem in the history of the deportation of Macedonian and Thracian Jews during World War II. It is about the fate of their movable property and material values, which are practically seized by the Bulgarian state. First, it focuses on the legal basis of violence, starting with the Law on the Protection of the Nation from 1940. It then examines the fate of real estate in order to focus primarily on material values. At the end, a review was made of the measures taken by the new government after 1944 to restore Jewish property and to raise this issue in the negotiations for Bulgaria's withdrawal from the war.
