Summary/Abstract: The investigation of thefts from machines for the sale of goods is characterized by specific features caused by the mechanism of the crime. Their knowledge makes it possible, on the one hand, to identify the perpetrator and prove his criminal activity, and on the other - to give the correct criminal qualification of the act. The article attempts to systematize the difficulties that arise in proving these crimes. Practical rules and recommendations have been set out to help increase the efficiency of investigators.
