Szkolne programy wychowawczo-profilaktyczne – idea a rzeczywistość
Education and prevention programmes at school – in theory and in practice

Summary/Abstract: Every year, state schools in Poland introduce various education and prevention programmes, containing a description of educational activities (addressed to students), as well as preventive measures (addressed to students, teachers and parents). Such programmes, in accordance with the Education Law – are adopted jointly by teachers’ councils and parent-teacher councils. This paper describes problems related to their practical implementation, as well as provides suggestions how these problems can be solved at a systemic level.
