EVOCATION OF A GREAT PERSONALITY FROM BANAT

Summary/Abstract: It has recently been 100 years since the passing away of the well-known Banat politician Coriolan Brediceanu, an illustrious lawyer, defender of Romanian rights and one of the most important historical and cultural personalities of Lugoj. A politician and defender of the rights of Romanians, Coriolan Brediceanu defended his confreres with great courage and dignity. He faced the political power of the time, when it came to the present and the future of the people, he faced foreign political forces, defending the justice and dignity of the Romanian people. Coriolan Brediceanu remains in the history of our country, not only of Banat, as a tall figure, of moral verticality, of national and spiritual dignity, a pillar of light of the history and culture of Banat, an example to be followed.
