Summary/Abstract: Today Christians are living in a growing post-Christianity reality and are confronted every day with the problem of how to engage culture based on the issues of the times. In our times abortion is an important issue for Christians to confront. The article focuses on the ethical quest for human dignity in the context of the church’s response to the challenge of abortion. The study has been mainly through literature review of books, journals and magazines and various viewpoints have been discussed and analyzed with regard to the problem.
