Summary/Abstract: Organizational change is a widely researched area which helps us build our understanding of what drives changes and how they impact individuals and teams, organizational performance andlong-term prospects. Recently, the European technological landscape sees new forms of organizing activities of various actors within technology centers and collaborative network organizations (CNO). Such forms often follow successful and viable grant-funded projects and aim to exploit project results after the end of grant financing. They face complex challenges on their transition from project organization to CNO which requires closer involvement, different governance model, strategy and business plans among others. This article develops a methodology for guiding transition to a CNO based on ECHO Network – one of the four pilot projects funded by Horizon 2020 in the cyber security domain in Europe. The methodology developed aims to support the transition of ECHO Network to ECHO CNO by the project end in 2023, as well as provide guidance for similar initiatives in IT/cyber security domain.
